Public Hearing for Emergency Services Sales Tax
Notice is hereby given that on Monday November 3, 2025, at 6:00 pm in Station 46 Training room located at 56 N Coral Canyon Blvd in Hurricane Utah, the Hurricane Valley Fire Special Service District Board will hold a public hearing to provide information and receive public comment on the authorization of the Emergency Services Sales Tax at a rate of .33%. The imposition of this tax will include all of the area covered by Hurricane Valley Fire Special Service District (Hurricane, LaVerkin, Toquerville, Leeds, Virgin, Rockville, and Springdale) At the time and place set forth above, all interested persons who desire to make public comment and be heard at the public hearing need to submit their comments and request in writing, emailed to info [at] hvfssd.org (info[at]hvfssd[dot]org) by noon on the day of the meeting.

This will include adjusting Revenues and Expenditures and re adoption of the budget. At the time and place set forth above, all interested persons may appear and will be given an opportunity to be heard either in support or in opposition.
