Emergency Medical Services

Hurricane Valley Fire District proudly provides emergency medical services within the district boundaries and upon request as mutual aid outside the boundaries. The majority of calls for service we respond to are EMS related. All department personnel have obtained and are currently certified by the State of Utah Bureau of EMS as Emergency Medical Technicians, Advanced EMT’s, or as Paramedics.

The district employees and volunteers strive to provide the very best in emergency medical care in the homes of our district members, on the streets that run through them, and in the ambulances as we transport the sick or injured to the hospital.

In order to provide an excellent standard of care to our patients, department members continue their education through attending bi-monthly department trainings. On duty crews also devote 2 hours per shift to on-shift training on a variety of subjects per state EMS curriculum.
