A vital part of the “EMS Chain of Survival” is the call to 911 in the event of an emergency. The chain of events that follows includes the callers’ ability to follow direction given to them by dispatchers to aid the victim in their emergency through providing first aid or cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Members of our community can greatly impact a victim’s life or limb by action before our further trained EMS Providers arrive on scene to care for the patient.
